The Marine Institute is a host venue for the promotion of knowledge and initiatives for preservation. It is also a multi-partner tool for the development of projects in environmental research and awareness building.
Why a Marine Institute at Seaquarium ?
For over 20 years, Seaquarium has been actively involved in preservation initiatives, research projects and improving knowledge on the marine environment.
The Marine Institute is therefore a showcase for these initiatives and projects.
It is also a place of sharing, learning and dialogue through projects run in partnership with fishing syndicates, water sports enthusiasts and members of the Grau du Roi local community.
A host venue,
open to the general public…
The Marine Institute includes a resource centre for information, discovery and education supporting the promotion of past, current and future initiatives.
This exceptional tool is used to enhance, accompany and develop new projects for the preservation of Mediterranean lagoons and marine environments..
How can I contribute to and participate
in the Marine Institute’s activities ?
From June 2017 onwards, the doors of Seaquarium Marine Institute will be open to welcome members, enthusiasts and projects.
Work at the Institute is already underway with scientific and research partners from CESTMED, Stellaris and Peau Bleue, the CPIE Bassin de Thau and many other associations…
