Zebra sharkStegostoma fasciatum

The zebra shark can be seen in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and the Pacific occidental, near the coral bottoms.
It can grow to up to 3 metres in length and it feeds at night by sucking in fish, molluscs, sea urchins and crustaceans.
The females are oviparous and lay their eggs on the sea bed. The baby sharks have black and white stripes when they’re born (which explains their name), which change to spots as they become adults.
